F&L Environmental was formed in 2019 with a focus on catastrophic livestock and poultry carcass composting. We have worked under the direction of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and have managed multiple farm sites impacted by flood and avian influenza outbreaks. We also have experience using horizontal grinders to pre-process and compost swine mortality by participating in the 2019 African swine fever mortality management trials conducted in North Carolina. Additionally, F&L Environmental works closely with an animal mortality management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with experience across the country and internationally in a number of countries including the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Tunisia, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, and Azerbaijan.
